This innovative exercise tool was designed by San Francisco’s Ellie Herman, a successful Pilates instructor for 20 years and former dancer and choreographer. The Springboard is the perfect piece of Pilates equipment for any studio or home-gym looking for an affordable, space saving apparatus.

The Springboard provides the ability to perform multiple Tower and Cadillac exercises without purchasing a Reformer. It allows the individual to do hundreds of exercises to work each part of the body for a complete body conditioning program. Exercises can be done seated, standing, kneeling, and lying down using resistance and assistance training to build core strength, coordination, balance, and flexibility.

The Springboard

The Pilates Springboard consists of a five-foot rectangular wooden board with eyelets placed on either side at six-inch increments and a dowel at the bottom to use for arm or foot support. It also has two medium resistant arm springs with neoprene handles, two heavy resistant leg springs with cotton loops, and a wooden roll-down bar. The Springboard is bolted into studs in the wall, taking up no floor space.
